Duplex Stainless Steel for Marine & Shipbuilding

Duplex stainless steel combines the advantages of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels, offering an excellent balance of high mechanical strength, chloride corrosion resistance, resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking.

For demanding marine environments, Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 2507 are particularly suitable where conventional 304/316L stainless steel may not provide sufficient strength or corrosion resistance.
